toki pona is a minimalist language with approximately 137 words. It can be written in the Latin alphabet, or one of the many writing systems that has been created for it (e.g. sitelen pona). In order to speak toki pona, you must first simplify your thoughts. For example, you can't say that you are a geologist- but rather a person of rock knowledge (jan pi sona kiwen) You can find out more at tokipona.org or by visiting the ma pona pi toki pona Discord server.
